Horesferry Rd Magistrates Court Redevelopment

Horseferry Rd Magistrates Court was one of Central London's best-known courthouses. It was in this Court that many of last year's rioters' cases were heard through the night during the months following the disturbances. it was also here that the Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange, was tried the year before and many, many more such key cases have been heard.

The courthouse has now been demolished and this prestigious island site, well within the range of the Division Bell, is being developed into apartments and penthouses. How many of them will be affordable housing we wonder and how many will end up as luxury apartments for MPs??
