Council gets 5 out of 10 for Porchester Road works

The new paving gets the thumbs up from local campaigner Sue Baring - the Liberal Democrats have been pushing for the improvement work for some time

The Council has been given 5 out of 10 by local Liberal Democrats for the half-baked job they've done fixing Porchester Road's paving.

Liberal Democrats have raised the state of the road's paving time and time again, and were relieved to see work finally start recently.

Sadly, the Conservative-run Council decided to fix just half the street!

Local LibDem Sue Baring said: "Encouraged by our partial success, we'll keep up the pressure for the Council to fix the rest."
