LibDems condemn Labour scaremongering on Freedom Pass

LibDems support Freedom Passes that provide free travel on the Tube and other public transport
LibDem candidate in the Abbey Road ward by-election Mark Blackburn is condemning as "scaremongering" a Labour leaflet that claims the LibDems want to abolish the Freedom Pass.
The passes are available to London residents aged 60 or over and those who have certain disabilities. It allows free travel on London's public transport system.
Commenting, Mark, who lives in the ward, said, "This Labour claim is just plain wrong. The truth is as simple as that.
"One would have thought that after 10 long years of spin, Labour would have learnt not to make stuff up. They should fight on the issues, not distortion.
"Labour support nationally is crumbling. They will not win this by-election. They don't have a chance. It's a clear choice on 3rd May between the LibDems and the Conservatives."
